Total Unshaven Hair Restoration is simple, we do NOT shave ANY area to either extract or implant your new hair. This protocol is extremely highly skilled and Dr Young is one of the few doctors in Australia who performs it.
It will only leave the hint of extraction holes hidden behind your hair and the new implanted hair.
There are no bandages.
(Please note some clinics will say they perform unshaven procedures, but they are essentially shaving the donor area, and not the implanted area)

There has been a continuous search for less invasive and intrusive ways to perform FUE hair transplants for Dr Young. All patients are unique, for example, some have long hair, and some have very short hair.
For all patients with long hair who don't want to shave their hair, it is then an ideal protocol.
If you need to get back to work as soon as possible or socially require more privacy then this is ideal for you.
If you have very short hair and don't mind shaved hair then this is not for you.

Generally, the best patients are primary patients, i.e. no previous FUE or FUT, a good donor, and not significantly high Norwood Hair loss grade. This will require dermatoscopic examination.
