One of the most experienced cosmetic physicians in Sydney, Dr Wayne Young was born in South Africa and had his first experience in Plastic Surgery whilst working in a clinic in 1989.
He completed medical school at The University of Witwatersrand, attending two terms in Plastic Surgery, one at Johannesburg General Hospital and the Concord Hospital in Sydney.
Dr Young then moved to London to further his surgical training, where he worked in the surgical departments of The Royal Free and The Royal Marsden.
He then moved back to Sydney, where he trained extensively in General Surgery for four years and then Plastic Surgery for five years alongside many of Sydney’s renowned Plastic Surgeons in St. Vincents, Westmead, POWH, and RPAH.
Since 2015 Dr Young has been involved in hair restoration, helping many men and women gain their confidence by performing FUE hair transplant surgery. Drawing on his extensive cosmetic surgery experience, his keen eye and artistic spirit ensure he provides his patients with the best results. With experience in pioneering safe techniques in cosmetic injectables and using design and anatomical modelling for the correct treatment of aesthetic face rejuvenation.
Dr Young has been trained in the FUE technique in India, Greece, and Bangkok, and has performed over 3000 procedures. He is a member of the World FUE Institute, FUE Europe/Asia, and AACS (USA). He has also attended GHLS 2021 and GHLS 2022, and many other aesthetic conferences over the years. The connection and required aesthetic and technical skills in aesthetic and plastic surgery are fundamental for hair restoration.
Dr Young sees every patient personally, in-clinic pre and post-surgery consultations, which he believes is key to a consistent approach to your hair restoration procedure.
